Self-taught my first photographs were taken by a Zenit 35mm Russian camera while still being a secondary school student, moved by the fascination of being able to capture the fleeting moments and work in the darkroom to re-live them again on paper.
After a long period, involved professionally in corporate project management, since 2004 I actively re-retook on my vocation – the photography, switching from film to digital media.
At the same time I started collaborating with Spanish, UK, US and South African photo agencies: Sportpicz, Scanpix Norway, IPA, Demotix. He is currently represented by CORBIS.
You can see my images published in The Guardian, The Boston Globe, The Sun, Аргументы и Факты, National Geographic, and other publications and online media.

Independent Photojournalism
I am currently preparing several trips to different hotspots, and the story in pictures shall literally cost me thousands of dollars to produce. While transportation to remote locations consumes most of my budget, I must also pay for food, accommodation, insurance, safety equipment, cameras, lenses, storage or other different costs for translators, fixers, etc.
The ability to undertake these projects depends not only on myself but also on your support to independent journalism. Without your donations these projects will exist only in my imagination, not the reality. Large agencies, newspapers squeeze out every cent out of their staff and contribute to stifling independent professionals, reducing your point of view to the one of the agency and its political agenda.
